i have blogged this before, but goddamn.

“escape from oz” - said refuses pardon.

so this is from the 4.2 episode “revenge is sweet.”  said and robson have been at each other’s throats, and robson and hoyt gang up on arif in the gym, breaking his nose.  tidd intervenes to protect him, and arif later explains to said what had happened.  what i love about this (aside from the facetouching) is that said hates tidd on principle: he was a friend of adebisi’s, and said can see no good in him.  but when arif shows up with his broken nose, all, “when i explain, whatever anger you feel toward tidd will disappear” - and i can’t imagine he said anything other than, “so, this kid kept the aryans from gangbanging me and then beating me to death” - said is like, “you know, he is probably trying to insinuate himself into our circle so he can kill me, but he protected you, so qualms gone!”  it’s also pretty awesome that even the aryans know the best way to get their mole inside the muslims is to have that guy help out arif.
