Sun shoots a final glance at Jin - only this time he makes eye contact - and smiles. Sun looks at Jin, confused. He reaches into his jacket, and pulls out a white orchid. And everything stops. This is a profound moment. A life-changing moment. Because in this simple gesture, Sun sees the man she loves - trapped somewhere in all the rage and anger -but still very much there.

PREACH
IDK, I’m Jate but I feel really uncomfortable telling any shippers they should just get over it. Like, people put so much heart into their ships. I can’t expect them to just turn it off, nor should we ask them to. Losing a ship war …
i am just surprised by how fervently people are dicks about their pairings. i am a ship and let ship kind of person, in general, and i wasn’t even in lost fandom proper because lol kate fan, but i still got a lot of, “oh, you ship that? let me tell you how you are wrong.” when i am just over here in the corner pining for the days of cagesex and trying not to get too cranky at the way the show headed (not just shipwise). sigh.
